In yesterday's snapshot of the new X server there seems to be fixed bug 2630.

But at least on spitz/akita it seems to return inconsistent information about
rotation.

How to reproduce:

1) Open the lid, call xrandr -o normal

Screen is in to landscape mode, (it seems that server tries to hide the fact,
that "normal" rotation is 270 degrees rotated on spitz/akita hardware).

2) Call xrandr

It reports 480x640 (i. e. portait)

3) Close the lid.

4) Desktop switches to portait mode

5) Call xrandr

It reports 640x480 (i. e. landscape)
