Ah yes, now I remember I've seen that one when reparsing the whole lot, after
modifying insane.bbclass. I postponed dealing with it, since (a) I'm not sure
how to deal with it and (b) as 4.1.2 doesn't work it will supposedly be
replaced with 4.3 eventually.

Although I agree that the very idea of this conflict possibility isn't very
appealing and should probably be eliminated by someone who knows how to ;-) I
can't think of solution other than adding version signature to the function at
the moment.
