Just to comment,
I propose to close this bug as WONTFIX because Marex can't explain why his
patch is correct, refuses to attach an actual error log, and never did a
objdump  on libsdl to see what it links to.
So what we know is Marex has a issue, we don't know the issue and can't judge
if the attached patch is correct.
