This simplistic patch breaks builds with non-hacked gcc (gcc version 3.3.6
(Debian 1:3.3.6-7) here).

Also, why this patch in OE at all? It's upstream issue, and must be reported
there, made sure it is fixed correctly (which would address issues like above),
and only then applied.
