using the x11 initrd for the poodle found at

http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unstable/images/poodle/20070604/

The bar at the bottom of the loading screen progresses to roughly 98% and
hangs.  Dropping to the console (Fn+Left) shows that the X server keeps
crashing.
