The temporary workaround for this is to "bitbake libaal" and remove libaa1 - in
kubuntu edgy:
"sudo dpkg -r --ignore-depends=libaa1 --ignore-depends=libaa1-dev  libaa1
libaa1-dev"

Don't forget to reinstall these after building libxine-fb, or at least do a
"sudo apt-get install -f"
