It appears that the build/tmp/staging directory is not cleaned when a package
is cleaned.  For example, I had trouble with kaffe-gtk leaving files all over
the staging directory, which classpath-gtk found.  This made classpath-gtk
RDEPEND on kaffe-gtk, even though I had cleaned kaffe-gtk and build jamvm
instead.  Manually removing all occurrences of kaffe from staging and then
rebuilding classpath fixed it.
