Over last time, there were concerns from OE maintainers about libsdl-qpe at
all, which I (as OPIE package maintainer) may pass to you (in plain words, it's
questionable if we need another "slightly modified" fork of libsdl-qpe). Either
way, update to 1.2.9 would be absolutely necessary to get this into mainline.
For example, some time ago, libsdl-qpe-1.2.7 was removed simply because it
didn't match "current OE" version of 1.2.9. It is now updated, so please rebase
changes on it, and it's actually highly recommended to merge them into (please
make sure you give good comments to your code, because libsdl-qpe patchset is
slated for cleanup).
