When attempting to change terminals at the login screen via FN+left or FN+right
machine will hard lock after changing terminals more than 3 times in the same
direction, 4 times in any direction (gpe-login to text login and back to
gpe-login), or if you change from the blank terminal to an x-session.

Steps to reproduce with FN+left:
1). Reboot your Z or logout.
2). Press FN+left once. This will bring you to a terminal login (text).
3). Press FN+left once. This will bring you to a blank screen (with a dash at
the top).
3). Press FN+left once. This should bring you back to the gpe-login screen,
instead it hard locks the machine. If you change back to the text console and
then to the gpe-login x-session (via FN+right), X will crash and reload the
gpe-login screen.

Note that I used the battery reset switch & recovery console to run fsck on
partitions after each test.

Used Angstrom-x11-image-test-20070422-spitz.rootfs.tar.gz as install media on
machine spitz (slc-3000), fresh ipkg update;ipkg upgrade performed as of bug
report.
