Summary: Pre-proproiveded pointercals don't work in general case
                    (of course)
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: Angstrom
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Distributions
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: pmiscml at gmail.com
         QAContact: tinderbox-oe at gmx.net

I got a report that latest Angstrom build on hx4700 has touchscreen problem -
pointer moves with 5x5mm area of top right conner. Confirmed this on my hx4700
too. The cause was found to be preinstalled pointercal files, which was
recently added.

Proposal:

Predefined pointercals are not going to work for any mass-produced, real-world
use (screenprotectors, fatty fingerstains, sand etc.) devices. As such, I'd
like to propose not even try to cause problems to users of pocketpc devices.
