Please do next thing on Zaurus:

1. boot into console mode (no gui)
2. login remote via SSH
3. "source /etc/init.d/opie"
4. "/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/qpe -nodaemon"
5. send output of that command - you will see where it fails

If it fails on nunome load then nunome is guilty.
