upon further investigation, in minimo(angstrom), the fn key does not work, but
using shift + - (for an @) does. I would agree that this is a keycode
interpretation error. the Fn key does not however make a capital letter.

This seems to be connected to ug 1436, and i'll be posting this that report as
well. Maybe one should be closed?
