It can be hard. From hardware point of view they differ in two places:

1. 4GB contra 6GB microdrive - but users exchange microdrive with memory cards
2. CPU revision - borzoi has pxa270rev4, terrier has pxa270rev7 -- but I found
it only on one Japanese page so I do not know does it happen with all copies.
