I am relatively new as bug-tracke user, so be patient if I do not follow
the proper way of send a bug-report - if so, tell me!

I had problem with bb recipe for minimo compiling for a x86 target in a build
system x86 also. The problem seems to be related to the compiler and flags used
in compiling xpidl tool. Some days ago I saw a checkin was made of the recipe.
The new version of recipe fix problems with flags of libxpidl, but a wrong
compiler is still used.
You may fix adding 

export HOST_CC = "${BUILD_CC}"
export HOST_CXX = "${BUILD_CXX}"
export HOST_CFLAGS = "${BUILD_CFLAGS}"

to the existing recipe.
export HOST_CC = ${BUILD_CC}

Another way is to rewrite the recipe to use the mozilla.bbclass as done in
other mozilla application recipes - if needed I post the modified version.
