Summary: 2007-10-20 'bitbake gpe-image' failed on several missing
DEPENDS
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Build
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: joshua at willowisp.net
2007-10-20 'bitbake gpe-image' failed on several missing DEPENDS, or at least
that is the best determination that I can make. (Angstrom 2007.1)
gtk+ failed on missing libxinerama (or maybe xinerama)
'bitbake xinerama' resolved that
it (gtk+) then failed on missing pango
'bitbake pango' resolved that
it (gtk+) then failed on missing libxrandr
'bitbake libxrandr' resolved that
at that point, gtk+ built, so to the best of my determination, the gtk+ bitbake
recipe needs to specify DEPENDS += "libxinerama pango libxrandr"
The weird thing is (from gtk-2.10.inc):
DEPENDS = "glib-2.0 pango atk jpeg libpng libxext libxcursor gtk-doc libgcrypt
cairo cups"
I don't know why I had to build pango separately, but I did.
The next failure I had was librsvg on missing libgsf
'bitbake libgsf' resolved that
and then gpe-image built.
Apologies for not having more detail in the bug report - I did not previously
realize that the error logs were overwritten on a successful build. (that, or I
am looking in the wrong place)
