Summary: ifup -a fails to bring up ethernets during networking
startup
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Distributions
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: skoroneos at digital-opsis.com
After building Angstrom/x86 x11-image noticed that the eth0 port did not come
up during boot.
The rest of the networking seems to be up as dbus works
Doing an ifup eth0 manually did bring the port up,got ip from dhcp etc
I traced the problem to the ifup -a command in the networking startup file.
Adding an ifup eth0 after the ifup -a worked so it seems that either something
is borged in the network config file or ifup can not handle the the -a
corectly.
Anyone noticed anything similar ?
