with xserver-kdrive and xserver-nodm it's working:

ipkg remove --force-depends gpe-dm gpe-session-scripts gpe-login xserver-common
ipkg install xserver-kdrive-common xserver-nodm-init

But that confuses the screen rotation: Screen is flipped left 90°, and gets
even more confused when you rotate it.
