Please check do you have hostap-conf package installed (should be as it is part
of base system).

Hostap-conf package contain /etc/modutils/hostap_cs.conf file which tells to
modprobe that for both of that cards (Ambicom and D-Link) hostap_cs should be
used.

The problem is that both orinoco_cs and hostap_cs are able to handle Prism2
cards. Upstream maintainers refuse to remove card IDs from orinoco_cs because
this driver is smaller and works (but does not handle WPA networks).
