librecord 0.1 is broken and has been upgraded to 1.0 (fixes issue), but
angstrom has:
PREFERRED_VERSION_librecord ?= "0.1"

specified in
org.openembedded/conf/distro/include/angstrom-2007-preferred-versions.inc

This is over-ridable in a local.conf, but the default shouldn't be broken.
