I found a way to bypass the menu problem in some versions of ScummVM: The menu
is originally bind to the F5 key - which does not exists on the zaurus. But
<Fn>5 can be mapped to simulate F5. Edit /etc/keymap-2.6.map, and add under,

    keycode 6 = five

The following line,

    altgr keycode 6 = F5

I found this to work in some versions of ScummVM under OpenZaurus 3.5.4.1
