Terry, thank you for sharing your recipe.  It is already in good shape, I
think.  The following suggestios would make it even better and ready for
inclusion in OE

- shorten the description a bit
- AUTHOR
- HOMEPAGE
- SECTION
- PRIORITY (optional)
- are you sure you are not missing DEPENDS (stuff needed to compile the
package)
- are you sure your DEPENDS isn't really RDEPENDS (stuff needed to run the
binary)
- please use ${SOURCEFORGE_MIRROR} and ${PV} for the SRC_URI

a good idea is always to base your work off other, working recipes.  You can
also rgrep through the packages directory when looking for specific examples. 
http://wiki.openembedded.net/index.php/Styleguide is also a good source of
information.

It would be supercool if you provided us with an updated version of your bb
file.
