Both libsdl-x11_1.2.9 and libsdl-x11_1.2.11 build fine for me.  You didn't
include any information about your environment or any log output so it is hard
to say anything of much use about your failure.

If it still isn't working for you, please feel free to re-open this bug and
attach some more details of your problem.  In particular please attach a copy
of your local.conf, together with the do_configure and do_compile logfiles from
the failing build of SDL.
