Richard, thanks for providing the commit mails.  Here are two things I ran
across

1) the URLs don't exist.  I assume sed working somewhere it shouldn't. 
Example:
   URL:   
http://gitweb.openembedded.net//OE.dev.git/?a=commit;h=373a119a5a8bc8cd4ba3384030d2c2dfdc657f82
2) It would be nice if the author of a commit was used as From instead
   of "OE Git Trial"
