we have prboom 2.4.7 in OE now.  Alas, it still fails for me.

NOTE: Checking sanity of the config.log file
ERROR: This autoconf log indicates errors, it looked at host includes.
Rerun configure task after fixing this. The path was
'/home/laibsch/oe/tmp/angstrom/dev/work/armv5te-angstrom-linux-gnueabi/prboom-2.4.7-r1/prboom-2.4.7'
ERROR: Error in executing:
ERROR: Exception:<type 'exceptions.SystemExit'> Message:1
ERROR: Printing the environment of the function
ERROR: Build of
/usr/src/oe/org.openembedded.dev/packages/prboom/prboom_2.4.7.bb
do_qa_configure failed
