this gets +1 from me.  Ant is putting in tremendous effort trying to support
the c7x0 in OE (and apparently includes the akita, too).  Since most core OE
devs have scaled back their Z activity we should not make it too hard for
members of the community to have their devices supported if their changes don't
impact other people's work negatively.
