For me they don't.  In fact, the touchscreen is not twisted anymore, but
completely dead.

Just before opie starts,  if udev 118 is installed (no matter the state of
/etc/udev/), I get a bunch of errors about stuff /dev/input/ just before the
opie screen shows.  I don't think I am seeing these errors on the console with
udev092.
