I've added help2man in af69f1d59affc73e1d3f65055a0ad0ff767a39e1

In general, I'm not sure that openembedded-essential is still actively
supported.  It kind of has been superseded by aptgetable OE at
http://blog.leggewie.org/?p=39  The basic functionality is in
openembedded-common and you can also choose one of the distro packages if you
want to.
