In glibc_2.3.6.bb, in the SRC_URI list there is an entry...

file://etc/ld.so.conf

This file is not in the repository at packages/glibc/glibc-2.3.6 and so
do_unpack appears to fail.

Copying the ld.so.conf from packages/glibc/glibc-2.3.2 appears to allow the
glibc to build for PowerPC 405.

Is it possible that this file is unpacked automatically for a different
architecture?
