Ok I'm closing this because it doesn't belong here. We figured out the problem
though: the framebuffer driver in msm7* (msm_fb) does not really update the
screen autonomously. since it works in the android gui, android must send some
ioctls or syscalls so that 'msm_update_screen' is called. when this function is
ran in a loop, also X works. I have not much clue about programming but this
can't be proper driver behaviour in the linux kernel.
