Sorry if I am wrong. I did some research. 

If this device has got an Philips UDA1380 chip (Source:
http://handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/HandheldHardwareXref) than this is in ALSA
since v1.0.12rc (source:
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Changes_v1.0.12rc2_v1.0.12rc3). I am
no developer, but it might fix this problem if ALSA instead of OSS be loaded, I
think.
