It would be nice if the DESCRIPTION for doc, dev and dbg packages were
automatically adjusted

suggestion
dbg: "$DESCRIPTION - debug information"
doc: "$DESCRIPTION - documentary files"
dev: "$DESCRIPTION - files for development such as headers, etc."

I'd make the change myself and propose it to the list, but looking through
classes/package.bbclass where I expected this to be set did not reveal how this
would have to be done.  Comments and hints welcome.
