Here is a work around for this bug.

use vi to edit /etc/altboot.func, at the begining of function mount_sd (after
"{"), add (type A to start editing, type "Cancel" key twice to exit editing,
shift-zz (not Fn) to save changes, :q! to exit without saving) :

      /sbin/modprobe locomo_spi
      /sbin/modprobe mmc_block            
      /sbin/modprobe mmc_spi
      sleep 5 

Apply on Angstrom-altboot-console-image-glibc 2007.12-r2 and 2007.12-r3

This is only a workaround. A real fix would be better! ;-)
