Summary: Swap file formatting causes hang
           Product: Zaurus Kernel
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: ARM
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: c7x0
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: john.aaron.rose at googlemail.com
                CC: john.aaron.rose at googlemail.com

I noticed that there is only 10.6mb free ram. So I thought that I would use a
swap file. I tried to format the swap file on an empty sd card (partitioned as
ext2) with:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/media/card/swapfile bs=1024 count=65536.

This caused a hang which required a re-boot. By the way, what is the control
key on the C860 (Boxer) as I tried using the Fn key but that didn't work?
