--- Comment #4 from Florent Pichot <zflorent at mailclub.net> 2008-02-24 08:34:11 ---
Finally, I managed to use this workaround!

Contrary to what was stated in commentary #1, I had to do the actions in final
file system in SD card image. It didn't work when done in booting file system
(in built in flash).

Now, how did I do it...

In fact, I'm lucky because I have a serial cable on Sharp Serial IO connected
to my PC serial connector through a cross cable.
I connected it, like that, just to see if I had debug traces...
And suddenly, when opie booted, I had a shell started on the terminal running
on my PC!!!
Cool!!!

So I was able to perform proposed actions :
- create /etc/modutils/touch with "ucb1x00_ts" in it,
- run update-modules (which was not present in flash file system in altboot
console image)
- reboot or shutdown now (it didn't completed, I had to perform a hardware
reset)

After reboot, touchscreen was OK and I managed to realize touch screen
calibration.

After touchscreen calibration, It was still stuck. But after reboot, opie boot
went further... Until next freeze! But that's another issue!

I don't change it's state to fixed beacause this is only a workaround, not a
fix in build system, and a serial cable is needed to use it...
