we can lock down to a sane SRCDATE just like SRCREV. Either way is fine to me.

I will leave the pre1 (tagged in 2004, from the unmaintained sourceforge) in oe
just for historical reasons. I don't think my patch touches the core of the
pre1 source, so at least we know the pre1 in oe is no more broken than before.
However, I won't bother to work on pre1 again, lots of files are
deleted/splitted/merged/etc since then. Pre1 is a dead end. It's time to test a
recent svn SRCDATA/SRCREV, then promote it to be the preferred version in oe.
