TARGET_OS was set to 
TARGET_OS = "linux"
# TARGET_OS = "linux-uclibc"

Does OpenEmbedded.AVR32 support glibc, maybe not!

Maybe local.conf should contain:
# TARGET_OS = "linux"
TARGET_OS = "linux-uclibc"



Adding the following line to classes/siteinfo.bb will get rid of the immediate
problem


                "avr32-linux-uclibc":      "endian-big bit-32 common-linux
common-uclibc avr32-common",\
+               "avr32-linux":            "endian-big bit-32 common-linux
common-glibc avr32-common avr32-linux",\
                "bfin-uclinux-uclibc":       "endian-little bit-32
common-uclibc bfin-common",\

but I have no clue if the build will complete at this point.
