           Summary: broken xmodmap for c7x0
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: Angstrom 2008.x
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: qawanted
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: org.openembedded.dev
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: andrea.adami at gmail.com
            Blocks: 2287

For c7x0 there are missing keys in X after gpe-login (e.g. "/" is missing).
Logging as root from vt before gpe-login opens a shell with valid keyboard.

<XorA|gone> oh, hmmm, I think koen made my keyboard hack for 1.4.* global
<XorA|gone> comment out the xmodmap - </etc/X11/default.xmdmap in
/etc/X11/xinit.d/12keymaps

This solves the issue for c7x0 but (is sheperd.xmodmap incomplete ?)
