Sorry for the delay with this. Ideally I wanted to understand the patches which
were being added since they had the potential to affect all machines and there
are quite a large number of them. Its clear I don't have time at the moment to
do that so I've added these as machine specific patches as a compromise. In due
course I hope to review them and move them to be applied to all machines. It
would help if you could mark the status of these patches with upstream and
whether upstream has accepted/rejected them and if known which trees they're in
and when they might be applied to mainline kernels.

eb1c40b4c0c0e45af72840032d1f8ffdf59afecc is the commit with the kernel changes
and  682b7f9bc2342713ca6c743f6c5d9edcb8f771b9 the keymap change.
