Same seems to apply to Akita.
When in X, using FN+{left} to go to the console.. the console will go blank
after a few minutes.. even during typing.
Only way to restore the LCD is to FN+{right}, going back to X followed by
FN+{left}.

Running 2007.12-r10-akita, but have seen this issue on all previous images and
2007.12.
