I bitbaked the latest x11-gpe-image for Angstrom-2007-12 for the iPAQ h2200.

In the resulting image the "set time and date" didn't work:
the 
gpe-conf time
command segfaulted

The resolution was to install the tzdata package.
Now it works.

IMHO the tzdata should be added to the dependencies of x11-gpe-image.
