No.

Its really hard to change this. Of course one could switch off the screen and
other things, but in the end the CPU goes into and endless loop IRC. So in the
end you can't really get this working in a good way. As I said above the best
thing would be to suspend the machine and lie to the user. But thats to much
effort.
