I'm sorry, I thought this was for gcc-4.2.2. So my previous comments were all
wrong.

looking at gcc-cross_4.2.2.bb, there is
--with-mpfr=${STAGING_DIR_NATIVE}${layout_exec_prefix}. So as long as
mpfr-native is built, this shouldn't be a problem.

Could you check if there is any mpfr installation on your host machine and
their version?
