Hi, 
I noticed a similar problem with my builds when I started copying the images
from my oetmp/rootfs/ directory to my SD card. The problem with this is that
the device nodes are generated when the filesystem is made from the rootfs
skeleton. So when the system boots, it can't find the console etc...
So make sure that you use the filesystem from oetmp/deploy/.../images/..., you
need to loop back mount it then copy the data across to your SD card.
