oneko_1.2.sakura.5.bb - bitbake recipe for oneko
A tiny ancient software, but nevertheless still funny. Oneko is a little cat
that chases your mouse cursor (or rather stylus touches on PDA). Especially
good on devices with hardware keyboard. On keyboardless PDA it will crawl over
your on-screen keyboard as you type, and that's a bit annoying. Furthermore it
seems to trigger some bug in xkbd that leads to xkbd's complete hang - so don't
try it if you don't have other input methods on your PDA. Matchbox-keyboard
seems to be more capable to survive cats invasion.
I made .desktop files for running and killing oneko from menu. In fact oneko
can be run in various alternative modes (dog, little girl, etc.), but I'm a
little bit lazy for making packages with .desktop files for all of them, so
other modes are accesible only from command line.
Recipe tested for compile with both .dev and .stable branches and then .stable
version succesfully installed and tested on h2200 and zaurus c700. Not sure
about package license, because there's nothing in tarball, but Fedora's spec
and Debian copyright file state it as public domain (see
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/o/oneko/oneko_1.2.sakura.6-3/oneko.copyright
).
Also both Fedora and Debian patch oneko for removing pictures of BSD daemon for
some legal reasons. I'm not sure if we need to do the same, but anyway I'll
attach Fedora's patch. Feel free to exclude it from recipe, if it's not needed.
