I'm not seeing it.  They do either:
- Copy ${WORKDIR}/linux-${PV}/include/{asm,asm-generic,linux} into
${STAGING_INCDIR}
- STAGE_TEMP="${WORKDIR}/temp-staging", mkdir ${STAGE_TMPDIR}, headers_install
into ${STAGE_TMPDIR}, Copy ${STAGE_TMPDIR}/include/{asm,asm-generic,linux} into
${STAGING_INCDIR}

IOW, staging has always had the glibc version.
