Summary: Resume corrupts screen if in landscape mode
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Zaurus Kernel
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P3
Component: c7x0
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: mas at ecs.soton.ac.uk
If the device is put to sleep/goes to sleep with the display in portrait mode
(rotated and locked over the keyboard in tablet type mode as opposed to laptop
mode) upon resume the display is corrupted.
The original picture is barely visible and the corruption is clearly pattern
based. The system remains fully active with the display corrupted. I can use
the keyboard (after opening) to remove the gpe screen lock.
I suspect that the gfx is trying to draw a landscape or portrait picture into
the fb which is configured in the other orientation. Speculation as I don't
really know much about this bit.
