It seems that when the defconfigs for linux-omap1 for v2.6.23 and v2.6.24 were
added, a number of features were turned off from all previous versions, without
comment why.

Presumably one should be able to take the v2.6.22 defconfig and update it for
v2.6.23/24 to get all of those features back.

Lacking hardware, I haven't had the time yet to try this myself.
