conf/distro/include/preferred-om-2008-versions.in pulls in pidgin ?= 2.2.1 as
preferred version.

However, there is only a .bb file for 2.5.3 in packages/pidgin and that makes
bitbake complain. Can we update that to an existing version so bitbake doesn't
complain all the time?
