Hi,

it looks like the Checksum mechanism is dependent on the original URL, it
failed for me when the source is downloaded from a mirror:

In checksum.ini I have:
<pre>
[ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tzcode2007k.tar.gz]
md5=1f1de10e168b78681756cc6411ea8145
sha256=1e5630747b12d82e106ff52173f890fe1975e2e72768872db8c64de9eace33d4
</pre>

but bitbake tells me:
<pre>
ERROR: tzcode-native-2007k:
http://bent.latency.net/bent/darcs/zoneinfo-2007k/src/tzcode2007k.tar.gz has no
entry in conf/checksums.ini, not checking URI
</pre>

Changing the URL in checksum.ini makes the package compile fine.
