Hello,
Some time ago I posted following report regarding stalling bluetooth connection
on the HX4700:
http://lists.linuxtogo.org/pipermail/angstrom-distro-users/2008-September/002251.html
The problem was related to the serial flow-control between the TI BRF6150
bluetooth component and the BTUART of the PXA270.
It could be observed by error messages on the HCI layer (h4_recv: Unknown HCI
packet type 06, hci_acl_tx_to: hci0 killing stalled ACL connection etc.) and on
'/proc/tty/driver/PXA\ serial' which reported overruns on the BTUART (not
always, often the link between the BRF6150 and the BTUART died before).
The BTUART of the PXA is offering full automatic flow-control - see
PXA27x_Processor_Family_Developers_Manual.pdf, p.10-30 .
The attached patch turns this on for the BTUART. The brf6150 driver of the OMAP
is doing the same btw, but just for the OMAP.
With this the bluetooth connection runs stable (bnep, obex) without any
problems for me.
Cheers, Oliver
